TaF.tc is collaborating with SME Centre@ASME to organise an afternoon of learning to help you develop your small business, and explore opportunities to upskill yourself or your staff. This month, we've invited two speakers to conduct an introductory workshop on Social Media Marketing.
Daniel Tan, Senior Business Advisor, SME Centre@ASME, The Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME)
Workshop Overview: The widespread adoption of social media & smart phones, coupled with the rising acceptance of online shopping, e-banking, and content sharing has led to the emergence of the New Digital Economy. Coupled with changing consumer trends, it's important that small businesses seize the opportunities afforded by these new developments, and leverage on the versatile power of social media marketing to reach and engage with their target audiences in order to boost sales over time.
Tang Chee Seng, Assistant Manager, Marketing and Technology, Textile and Fashion Industry Training Centre (TaF.tc)
Workshop Overview: When it comes to digital marketing, it is said that the best creative ideas are the ones that yield the best empirical results. But how do you know if your marketing campaign is truly achieving the sales targets that you want? We will introduce the basics of marketing metrics, and try a simple exercise designed to calculate a rough estimate on how many marketing leads you need in order to hit your sales targets.
