Singapore e-commerce logistics startup Parcel Perform raises US$1.1 seed funding

PARCEL Perform, a Singapore-based e-commerce logistics startup, said on Monday that it has raised US$1.1 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Wavemaker Partners (a venture capital firm headquartered in Singapore and Los Angeles), and participated by 500 Durians (the South-east Asian fund of California-based 500 Startups), as well as existing and new angel investors.

Parcel Perform said that it will use the new capital for "worldwide growth" and to expand its product offering.

Its self-service software provides merchants with a branded tracking page for all their global and local carriers and offers them the opportunity to send shoppers continuous updates about the status of their shipment in real-time.

Merchants also have access to a comprehensive customer service interface and an intuitive and actionable analytics to compare their carriers' performance worldwide, the startup added.

Arne Jeroschewski, chief and founder of Parcel Perform, said: "This is a very exciting time, not only for our growing Parcel Perform team but also for merchants worldwide. Online shoppers are demanding more of e-commerce merchants, especially when it comes to the after-checkout experience.

"We help drive merchants' growth and improve their customer' loyalty. This round will allow us to further broaden our reach and product portfolio."
